​​The Reading Hindu Centre is a registered charity (1115850) established in 2006 and is run primarily by the Executive Committee who are all non-paid volunteers.

 

The Reading Hindu Centre has been established in Reading for over 15years and is the main focal point for the local Hindu community for their religious and cultural needs. The Centre also houses a Hindu  Temple. The Temple and its resident priest provide for the religious needs of the Hindu community.

 

This includes the performance of marriages and death rites.  It also provides the environment and infrastructure for community activities including religious and social. The Temple is situated near the town centre in an old building which was formerly a church.
